Where did you grow up and how did your childhood shape you to work at Yass Valley Veterinary?

I grew up in the Northern Rivers District of NSW near Byron Bay. I loved seeing the farms and the horses and cows. I always wanted the space to have my own horse and have him at home, which Yass offers me and I get to take care of all the different animals in the area.

What qualifications do you have?

Bachelor of Veterinary Science from JCU, Cert IV Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in Special Effects Makeup and Design.

Why do you like working at Yass Valley Veterinary?

I love the rural setting, the different animals you get to see and the team has been incredibly welcoming. The lifestyle in Yass really helps too!

What you like doing in your spare time?

Riding my horse, taking the dog out to new places, and a coffee at the Cafe with my husband.

What pets do you have?

Horse - 17 year old Thoroughbred, Cat - 7 year old Abyssinian x and a Dog - 10 month old Malamute x
