Where did you grow up and how did your childhood shape you to work at Yass Valley Veterinary?

I was born in England and came to Australia when I was three. Growing up we’ve always had animals to care for. We’ve had many types of animals from guinea pigs to my horse. So I spent much of my time playing with my dogs and other animals.

What qualifications do you have?

I have a certificate 3 in early childhood education. But hope to soon start studying a certificate in vet nursing

Why do you like working at Yass Valley Veterinary?

I enjoy the wide variety in animals we see. Some days it’s dogs and cats. And other days it’s wildlife in need of care.

What you like doing in your spare time?

I love to spend my time training my assistance dog in training Solar. Wether it’s something useful or just a silly trick. And I also spend a little too much time gaming. But nerds will be nerds I guess.

What pets do you have?

I have a yellow lab named Solar.

A fluffy little cat named storm

And my flock of tiny dictators(chickens). Juniper, Willow,Ash,Alder,Birch,Madz, Martha and Myrtle. And yes I can tell them all apart. I really am a crazy chicken lady
